i just don't see a systematic republican agenda of effective voter suppression. There is no evidence that any of these bills actually suppressed the vote. The republican bill s that have passed basically have partially restored the election status quo, which was not competitive authoritarianism. So i would like to see a more fleshed out understanding of how republicans are going to change. You saw it with the jerrymandering stuff this year. And in a bunch of states, we're too worried about going for the strong jerrymander because it would make a few of their seats vulnerable.
