i'm pretty sure your t v itself only supports dolby digital and not d t s. So you're going to get doy digital being passed through in fon. If you use a breakout box, which, ironically would mean that you could have bought the l g t v you wanted because yo y, you bought a h d m i switch box sor you're not going to be using all of them. My guess is for most of us, we won't be able to tell a lick of difference, so long as you're getting the channels that you need,. Which it sounds like you are. A so a bias definitely matters when it comes to both video and an audio
