The word prophet is interesting. It comes from the Latin word meaning to make or do. And this is to be pressing forward. We came to this earth to do, not to just sit around and just wait for the end and hope God will save us. Jesus gave us three parables because our preparation for his second coming is such a big deal. Whether we re alive when he comes or whether we die before the second coming - principles are the exact same.
