Ep 522 - As I Lay Dying, by William Faulkner
Overdue
William Faulkner's Writing Style
William faulkner died in 19 62 after a fall, a some thrombosis took him out. He is a kind of maximalist with his prose in a way that he is trying to depict internality in a way, but not in a literal way. This book has some tricky structural stuff going on that i think is a little bit more adventurous than as what i recall from reading absalom apsalom in college. But it is like lots of run on sentences, lots of just big, eloping passages that you're trying to find the through line of. It's challenging on purpose.
