The Dangers of Sulfates
Sulfates are surface activators. They break down oil. Nobody ever said they were cancer causing. The only thing I think some of the groups out there say is that they're irritants. So yes, if I squirted a shower gel in your eye, would irritate your eye? What about the fact that they might be drying? Some hair companies say don't put them in. They dry out your hair.
