How to Keep a Mood Diary
Keep a mood diary. It helps knowing that these things are cyclical for me. I tend to, if I'm really low, or maybe sometimes really happy, I'll then think, or I'll put this in the mood diary. And what happens is you build up enough of a picture over a time that you can see that it kind of ends. You won't feel it out all the time. But if you just feel it out a bit every now and again, it helps to know that it ends. Remember we struggle with flexible cognition.
