Keep a comedic diary before you go to bed. Jerry Seinfeld says do not wait because that thought will be gone out of your head and it's gone forever. I definitely do that so as soon as something comes and get it on the like I have a funny story file or a funny thing file on my smartphone. It just gets longer and longer and longer. You miss out on some really cool funny stories by not doing it.
