Why were many Season 3 scenes cut?

A.Ron is back with his buddy Pete Peppers to talk Foundation Season 3 one last time. Pete is a fellow Foundation book reader, so finally I have someone to go in depth with theories on where they're going in the adaptation of Asimov's work.
