The Promise to Pass New Laws to Stop Small Boats

The pledge is we will pass new laws to stop small boats. But currently there is the illegal migration bill that presumably will become law at some point, even though it's a lot of opposition in the Lords. The number people are still coming across the channel. Seems like a rite of passage now for new home secretaries to say their new law is going to be the law that ends small boats.
