The Risks of Supplement Interactions
There's a lot of ways interactions can happen we can have additive side effects so you could take say valerian which makes you really really sleepy and drowdy but maybe you're also taking a prescription medication that does that. There are binding interactions to worry about like calcium or magnesium combined to certain antibiotics. I think there's also drugs like ginkgo biloba and st. john's wort which really alter the effect of some important enzymes that are extensively involved in drug metabolism. Those would be red flag ones that I would always always ask a pharmacist or doctor before you started them.
