Are Anti-Seizure Drugs Category D or X?
Jed Hoppin: I would imagine that the anti seizure drugs would be category D because you may have someone with a bad enough seizure disorder where they need to use one of these. And then another category X might be warfarin for example where you would never really want to use it in pregnancy and there's other anti-coagulancy you could use so you'd never need to use warfarin. So okay so maybe that's more of a D than an X. Yeah but he certainly isn't X during the first trimester of pregnancy. Okay interesting. All right so good those are the FDA categories.
