The Impact of COVID on the Produce Industry
Kristina: In just a year, we've almost doubled our impact. We're now at over 35 million pounds of excess produce sold to date. It's almost double in a year what we had in terms of impact last year. Talid Visran: Do you find that the pandemic has affected those goals at all? And how so? Kristina: If anything, I think COVID shed a light on how critical technology is needed for situations that are unpredictable and supply demand shifts.
