Yael Schulte's new book is called Work, Parent, Thrive. She talks about the conflict between work and family roles a lot in our society. When we're doing two things that require a lot from us, they sort of are in conflict with one another. If we give time to one, we're not giving time to another; she says. The science supports her idea: Our roles conflict but can benefit each other.
