The Buddha's Meta Bhavana
The Buddha answers the Kalamas dilemma, their question of who to believe by giving a completely different way of thinking about how to judge what's going to be a benefit for them. So he recommends to the Kalamas the practice of meta or loving karmas which I think you've all had some experience of now through courses and classes here at the Buddhist Center. What we practice as meta bhavana is pretty much exactly what the Buddha was teaching here except we do it in a five stage way which is slightly more user friendly than the way the Buddha taught it.
