A change to the labor law in ontario is not going to say, hey, we're only creating a third class ation of worker for people who work for uber. It's going to be for everybody whose employer chooses to classify people in that way. So instead of me being like, hay, i'm a gig worker, and it's really shiddy when i act for this person because i'm an employee, but they don't treat me like one,. I mean to make them an employee up front before they hire me. Ah, may i think that's a very basic, very reasonable ask from working class people?
Paris Marx is joined by Jennifer Scott and Brice Sopher to discuss the campaign to unionize Foodora and the fight for gig workers’ rights in Canada.
