Globalization and National Security Concerns
The United States has put restrictions on chips that may be shipped to China. That's going to have a very big effect, but I think what will happen is there will be trade among the willing. Europe still wants to sell Airbus airplanes in the U.S., Boeing wants to sell Boeing airplane in Europe. Mercedes wants to sell cars here and so there will continue to be trade but I think increasingly China will operate in a closed system.
