Introduction

The Intel on-demand driver is going to make it into Linux 6.2. There are two different license models for the on-demand features that you can unlock in these newer Xeon CPUs. One is a straightforward, you bought the license and now you get to use the feature that already existed in your CPU. The other one is even worse. It's a consumption model, which means that you pay now we don't have a whole lot of details on this yet.
