There was an essay a while back by Aaron Ren that kind of set the terms of this debate as far as I can tell. And it used the kind of analogy or rubric of three worlds in which Christians have lived in the past several generations. He argued that we transitioned at some point probably around Obergefell into what he calls negative world, where being a Christian became actually a serious detriment to you socially and academically. Do you think that there's some truth to that? Or do you think that it's a misreading of Keller and perhaps our cultural situation?
