The Battle of Camden

Gates arrived in hillsborough, north carolina at the end of july 17 80. What he found was not a pretty sight. These guys were worn out, badly supplied and poorly armed. But these forces had not made it in time. So this group of about 14 hundred would wind up forming the corps of gates's new army.
