This week, we talk with doctor carter charles about his journey into the church. He tells us how he became a member of the ch in 19 96 after emigrating from a haiti to french guienna. After dropping out of school for two years, like most latter day saints do, i went on a mission and regained my true identity. And it is while living in middle school, not one of your classmates was inviting another friend of mine for what i thought was a party. It turned out to be a spiritual party, not, you know, a dancing or anything like that.
