It depends on the service provision that's available. Some areas of the country have direct access, and if that's the case, then yes, a physio should see that patient to effectively recognize their own barriers and boundaries and refer accordingly. I know that physio departments are overloaded as it is with people that are problematic in moving. People that can't get out of bed because they're in pain, people that can't stand out of a chair normally or something like that. They're the ones we should be focusing on.
