The film was set during the fukushima emergency in 2011. The Americans were discussing how to help the japanese after they had been hit by a nuclear bomb. But instead of focusing on them, it just randomly cuts to a flashback of an american general who didn't have any role in the plot or whatever. "It was just like an ad sitcom you're totally fucking right," says actor Malin Kona-Sittany as he talks about his experience with the movie.
