The Strange View of Physicalism

I don't actually think that the couch is a subject of experience. What I do think is that all the particles that make it up may have to be. The question is how can conscious story experience exist if everything is physical? So what you're saying is that physicalism which is this idea that everything not just the behavior of billables but also the experiences of human beings can be explained in terms of physical particles ultimately. That's right for the following reason. It requires a kind of radical emergence. How could experience arise just from putting wholly non-experiential things together in a certain way or in a certain pattern?
