How Long Does It Take to Get a Work Permit?

An employer would need to seek out an employer in Canada and get them to apply for the work permit or visa on behalf of them. You can expect that it's going to take four to six months for the labor market impact assessment itself. And then you have to apply for a work permit in the country in which the person is residing. If we're doing that in the Philippines, that could add another one, two, three years to the process.
