In his first book about sustainable software architecture, Peter DDD created a measurement. We called it more modularity maturity index. And with this measurement, we actually measure system. So, we look for modularity. We look for hierarchies and we have various criterias. This is all out there. People can read about it. The whole algorithm is defined. It's not a secret.
