A network of at least 51 locally branded news sites have popped up online since last year, all serving battleground states like Arizona, Colorado, Georgia, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. They're run by the same company out of Washington, DC called local report, Inc. that was formed late last year. And it's run by a man named David Brock who also operates the liberal website media matters. What Mr. Brock has done based on the report from Axios is that he's hiring liberal writers, especially from the progressive news organization American Independent.
