The Importance of Active Listening
This movie actually cracked open for me in a way that I wasn't really appreciating the first time because now I was watching this entire movie where this caper with joy and sadness, I'm thinking. Oh, joy is kind of like she's a zealot. She's a pathological zealot of happiness. And it almost didn't register how cranked up she was in in her zealotry about being happiness. Joy is suffocating everyone around her because she doesn't listen. That moment is something we've been talking about a lot.
