Pythia - The Most Powerful Woman in Greece
The temple was built around this entrance, which leads into a cavern. The location is uniquely situated above two tectonic plates. Smoke perpetually rises from this hole and is wafting over Pythia's hooded face. It seems like she is in the middle of delivering her oracle message to a visitor. Could it be that the place that Jung's mind inhabits during the Red Book sessions is the same place that Pythia's mind inhabiting?
