Is God Going to Command That We Do Things?
Matt, how did God come to the conclusion that rape was wrong? That's his question. And then we'll get an answer and then we'll go through a response. Matt: It seems to me that if God does command something that we have very compelling reasons to do independent of his commands, that those reasons probably are pretty strong, right? Matthew: When they involve persons, when they involve the welfare or life of a person, it seems that they take on a different character. They're not very overwhelming, but they're there.
