The Sonora Aero Club

The sonora aero club was primarily composed of german american immigrants. This is around the civil war period when they're creating these flying machines in the southwest. And apparently it goes back as far as the 18 hundreds, right? Like this technology of dirigibles and flying,. you know, crafts of all variety were being innovated in the united states by germans.
