Do My Progress Notes Actually Reflect These Themes?

The California Certification Board for Alcohol and Drug Counselors Handbook was released in 2013. Documenting treatment goals and objectives are recommendations, referrals, case consultations, family sessions, and discharge summaries. The guide is pretty explicit about what needs to be in your notes. It doesn't say how much of that information needs to be on the page but it does tell you explicitly.
