PTSD - What Happened on the Flight to South Africa?
Fergal was struggling with his mental health. This crisis couldn't be hidden and it's built over. I had experienced chronic anxiety before that, but this was the first time that it actually reduced me to a state where I couldn't function. That means just a relentless panic attack, a panic attack, doesn't stop. It only stops when you're exhausted or when you have enough medication taken to keep that surging adrenaline suppressed. So what happens on the flight and I get to South Africa and it's very apparent that I'm not going to be able to continue. And I'm briefly hospitalized in a couple of days. Then I come back and I have the best part of a year
