Building Platforms That Support Millions of Use Cases

We have to build platforms that can support millions of people's use cases. We don't want the software doing too much because then it's going to get locked into the one thing. So what's the best way for a human to talk to the platform? We could use English. Imagine if you can just be plain English to the infrastructure? Right now, Kubernetes doesn't even understand YAML.
