The Problem With Man-Made Synthetic Architecture
I think most of the places that we assume we can stand to make assumptions are, like you said, man-made synthetic. So they're an approximation of something or maybe worse. But nonetheless, we can see certain things in the world. Like when you go to India and see some of those temples carved out of a single piece of stone. It tells you that there was a time to me what that indicates is they were in tune with reality. And so that also underscores what places like the Vatican do. They're leading us away from it.
