Is It Possible That It's Impossible to Tell the Difference Between a Powerful God and a Random Universe?

For a long time people thought that Bell's experiment ruled it out. There was actually a proof by von Neumann that suggested that no hidden variables were allowed but there was a mistake in it. It might just mean that we need another generation of clever scientists maybe somebody out there listening has actually understood our description of Bell’s experiment and thought hmm what if you added this feature to it? And then reading his experiment going oh wow that's clever I never would have thought of that.
