Can We Hook a Weather Balloon?
The Canadians once lost a control of a weather balloon, similar kind of balloon. Do you know how many bullets it took? They fired about a thousand rounds into the weather balloon. And even then it took six days for it to come down because it was just deflating slowly. Here's the here's what we had to do, which was why it was kind of tricky. We wanted it. The debris from hitting it with a missile covered about six miles. So they had to bring it down so close to shore.
