For every individual person that there'll be shared elements of the horror of it, but also differences in how it is some people with more resources than others to to cope. In his case, it's remarkable story, in a way, you know, despite all the damage he suffered, of psychic survival. There are things that don't necessarily leave marks on the body in the way that physical torture does, but that devastate people, just being alone for extended periodsnd. And i found so moving and eloquent and thought provoking was reading that post war literature about captivity
