Sometimes people place way too much importance on hitting specific numbers, especially in like individual workouts. Sometimes you know keeping that training log and going back and looking at that stuff more objectively can be a little bit of an eye opener for people. I see this a lot with runners will they'll be having a kick ass training cycle right there chugging right along they're hitting all their stuff and then something happens life happens.
