What Is a Runner?
Yen: I think they had a comfort with me that i was not trying to exploit my story. And so when we started chatting, it felt like i was talking to a friend, rather than i was interviewing some one. There's a couple of moments in which you say, basically, readers, people reading this, you break the fourth wall, essentially. Yen: It's a way of inviting them to kind of step outside of theirselves and analyze just the privilege that they have just by being able to run.
