Madgata prana means senses, but also it means our energies. Where are they flowing? Normally what happens is our life energies and thoughts are directed towards the world. But when you see Vibhuti, the glory of God in these things, you will find that the senses also flow towards God. That sets up a deep conflict with us. We are trying to hold on to something that will not stay still. It is the world, it will keep changing. You are not the same person I loved. That was a construct. And so this will remind you again and again of the divine presence.
