There comes a certain point where you've got to switch the focus from perfection of technique to integration of technique. If your opponent only requires a skill level of say 40 to be taken down, what's the point of getting a double leg all the way up to 60 or 70? You're not really getting any return on the investment at that point. So, George was the first tutor who mixed martial artists. No one else took it to the level of professionalism that he did. He sought out the best coaches in the various disciplines and then actively asked himself: how can I integrate those skills with this skill?"
