Hening Jacobson's Refusal to Be Vaccinated

In 1901, a small POCS epidemic broke out. The city of Cambridge mandated vaccinations. Hening Jacobson refused to get vaccinated and he refused to pay the $5 fine for doing so. It went to court and he lost in Massachusetts. After the Massachusetts, he appeals the case then goes up the Supreme Court. He wins his right to refuse vaccination. That refusal is the moment in the story we've been waiting for.
