The Role of the Black Cowboy in the American West
Many people believe the original cowboys were from Mexico. In fact they were Afro-Mahicanos who came in during the time that this was Spanish territory in then Mexico. So many folks fell to realize and really think about that this real real life and the taming of the American West as we'd like to call it was done by Black and Latinos. They are the center of the narrative with a hardly in the story in our films and novels.
