The intro on this just, to me, felt instantly like a theme song. Originally we had talked aboutor what kind of emotion. And the idea was to kind of show you how one emotion can lead you to another. I want more second generation people to speak in hindi and to sing in hindie. There wasn't that many opportunities for us growing up to even hear hindi on the radio,. So any chance i get to sing as an indian origin woman who's proud of my identity... it does push me to do something outside of my comfort zone. My mam really helps often, she'll go to an obvious place with the lyric but then tell me not to say
