The Future of Artificial Intelligence
I'm not sure what difference it makes to the way that we approach these systems or our interactions with them. It's kind of being aware of how you're making the decisions. The reason why we shouldn't expect AI systems to be like people is the constraints that characterize human cognition are different from those under which AI is being engineered. We have to just build our own new internal cognitive models of what these systems are like and what it's like to interact with them without expecting them to be like human beings.
