The Evolutionary Theorist, George Price
George price was a chemist who got his ph d. at chicago for work he did on the manhattan project. He left his wife with their two daughters to move over seas by himself, and decided that his life's work is going to be to figure out why we live in families. In 19 68, he discovers the work bill hamilton, the great evolutionary biologist, who had been doing some related work. And Price comes up with an equation that answers this riddle of limited altruism toward kin but all human selfless kindness as well. It's called inclusive fitness, or kin selection.
