As a project manager for a large firm, i feel like you need to be not a designer, hands off. But then if you're in a smaller firm, that does get a little bit trickier. You might have to balance your ideas offo each other and just come to a decision together. I think three years ago be like, very simple. You just need the microsopt suet. And now being organized is even more important because things are just everywhere.
