The Causation of Negativity in the United States

I think that what happens is that the the cop-out answer to this is a very general answer that's true. The United States had reached an equilibrium of status in our society a status equilibrium that was no longer tenable and then a series of events kicked it over and kicked over the old equilibrium and we're settling into a new one. A lot of women and non-white people felt that they that the system wasn't set up for them you know they didn't have a fair place in the status hierarchy of American society and so we shook it up right.
