The Loss of a Critical Part of Education

I have spoken to certainly primary school teachers, he's working very deprived areas. This is something that people who live in houses and raise their children in homes where there are books all over the shelves and books everywhere often get wrong. Some of it actually really works. And it's quite easy to be sort of loftily sniffy about systems that got kids who were really struggling to do stuff that they wouldn't otherwise be able to do. But nonetheless, it seems to me we are losing or have lost parts of education that are not only crucial, but emphasize that sort of nurturing holistic side of education.
