I remember working as a software developer before I went more into the DevOps end and the way it changed my life as a developer. So for me, CI is continuous integration. It's all pieces that happen right after the code has been checked in to the repository. We run all kinds of security testing, all kinds of testing,. All kinds of unit testing, maybe also integration testing. We do a linting. We ensure that we do not have any secrets in the code. And then for me,CI ends with the deployment to an environment.
